Attorney Kristy L. Rivers has over eight years of practice experience advising clients on various litigation matters. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Maine, Florida, and the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts. She has also successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in front of the Massachusetts Superior Courts, District Court Departments, and the Massachusetts Federal District Court.
Kristy began her career providing indigent representation in Miami, Florida, and then served as one of the first Assistant Defenders in the State of Maine, helping to develop a centralized indigent representation system in the state, where she handled many trials.
Her current practice includes construction disputes involving general contractors, subcontractors, and property owners, as well as litigation and non-litigation matters concerning real estate, land disputes, condominium, and a variety of contract-related disputes. Kristy has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in pending civil litigation trials, hearings, mediations, and dispositive motion hearings.
Kristy received her Juris Doctor degree here in Boston from Suffolk University Law School, where she was honored to be chosen to deliver the 2016 commencement speech to her graduating class.
